Thank you for being here! I truly want my couples to know just as much about me, as I want to know about them. Below you will find my history as an events professional, and the path that has brought me to starting my own business that you find here.

I have been in the hospitality industry since I was 15 years old, with a strong focus on events. I immediately fell in love with the hustle and bustle of the events world from day one. I started as an event server, and quickly started assisting couples walk down the aisle. Who wouldn’t fall in love with helping someone on the biggest day of their life?! It was so exciting and I couldn’t get enough. I couldn’t wait for the next wedding!

As I continued to gain experience, I ended up leaving for College, where I started working as an Event Manager at the Indianapolis Zoo. Throughout this journey, I learned to manage event staff, work with clients vendors, work with outside catering companies, and quickly realized I loved making a couples wedding day vision come true!

Since graduating college, I have worked for Receptions, Inc for 6 years as an Event Sales Manager. Throughout my time at Receptions I enjoyed having the ability to walk with a couple throughout their entire engagement up to the wedding day. From contracting the wedding, to detailing, to coordinating day of – It makes such a special experience.

My most recent position in events was with The Hotel Covington and The Madison Event Center as an Operations Manager. This position created the opportunity to step back from working directly with clients, to focus more on the behind the scenes. I learned so much in this position on operating a large scale banquet team.

All of these positions have led me to where I am today. And I could not be more thankful for all of the couples I have already assisted, and the co-workers who taught me everything I know. My future is here now, with Events with Mercedes & I could not be more excited about it!
